इंडियन एक्सप्रेस की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, अतिरिक्त टैरिफ के कारण लागत प्रतिस्पर्धा में गिरावट के कारण तिरुपुर, नोएडा और सूरत के कपड़ा और परिधान निर्माताओं ने उत्पादन रोक दिया है।

47 अरब डॉलर के निर्यात पर असर

अमेरिकी टैरिफ के कारण भारतीय निर्यातक अमेरिका के साथ अपने व्यापार में भारी गिरावट के लिए खुद को तैयार कर रहे हैं। शुरुआती अनुमानों के अनुसार, 47 अरब डॉलर से ज्यादा मूल्य के उत्पादों पर 50% टैरिफ दर लागू होगी। इसमें 7 अगस्त से भारतीय आयातों पर लगाया गया 25% टैरिफ और रूस से भारत द्वारा तेल आयात पर दंड के रूप में लगाया गया 25% अतिरिक्त टैरिफ शामिल है।,अभी यह शुल्क 25 प्रतिशत का है। इसके अलावा पारस्परिक शुल्क से पहले लगने वाले शुल्क भी लगेंगे। जैसे कार्पेट निर्यात पर अप्रैल के पहले अमेरिका के बाजार में सिर्फ 2.9 प्रतिशत का शुल्क लगता था जो अब 52.9 प्रतिशत हो जाएगा।,

इन इंडस्ट्रीज पर होगा बड़ा असर

इन क्षेत्रों को उठानी पड़ेगी परेशानी- शुल्क में इस बेतहाशा बढ़ोतरी से भारतीय वस्तुएं अमेरिका के बाजार में काफी महंगी हो जाएंगी और इससे भारत का 30-35 अरब डॉलर का निर्यात प्रभावित होगा। मुख्य रूप से समुद्री उत्पाद खासकर झींगा, आर्गेनिक केमिकल्स, अपैरल, टेक्सटाइल मेड-अप्स, हीरे व सोने के जेवरात, मशीनरी और मैकेनिकल उपकरण, फर्नीचर और बेड जैसे आइटम के निर्यात प्रभावित होंगे।,इन क्षेत्रों को टैरिफ से मुक्त रखा गया है- फार्मा, स्मार्टफोन व अन्य इलेक्ट्रॉनिक और पेट्रोलियम उत्पाद के निर्यात को 50 प्रतिशत के शुल्क से मुक्त रखा गया है। अमेरिका कृषि, डेयरी व मत्स्य जैसे सेक्टर में भारतीय बाजार को पूरी तरह शुल्क मुक्त करवाना चाहता है।,

तिरुपुर के निर्यातकों को 1.5 लाख नौकरियां जाने का डर

तमिलनाडु के तिरुपुर के निर्यातकों को बड़े पैमाने पर नौकरियों में कटौती, कारखानों के बंद होने और कई हज़ार करोड़ रुपये के नुकसान का सामना करना पड़ सकता है। इस औद्योगिक शहर में भारत से होने वाले कुल निटवियर निर्यात का लगभग 68% हिस्सा है और लगभग दस लाख लोग इसमें कार्यरत हैं। रिपोर्टों के अनुसार, उन्हें लगभग 1.5 लाख नौकरियों का नुकसान और 12,000 करोड़ रुपये के राजस्व का नुकसान हो सकता है।,
